OTTOMAN VICEGERENCE
Osman Ghazi son of Erugrul Ghazi founded the Ottoman state in 1299. His descendants continued expanding their territory and at its zenith in the 16th century (by then a caliphate) ruled in 3 continents. Ottomans ruled for around 7 centuries until the dawn of World War I making it the longest lasting Muslim Empire. The researcher in this course will undo the knots of rise and fall of the world power of its time – Ottoman Empire.
