About IKCCR

IKCCR is an initiative by a group of people who belong to the young generation of this political epoch. Love and curiosity for history and culture is what stand common in our team members. We realized that there is a sizable group like us who wishes to penetrate to the roots of history but unfortunately, they are not able to find an appropriate direction to lead them. Hence, our team thought to commence this Civilizational Research program through the establishment of this Institution.

Ibn Khaldun Centre for Civilizational Research offers you an opportunity to know about the authentic and rich history of your geography and about the retrospect of your community.

History is not something that should be forgotten because history gives us lessons to shape our future. In order to revive this almost forgotten history, we are introducing some short courses with the aim to delve inside some of the well-known civilizations of their respective eras, and with this organization, we look forward to peeping inside the authentic and almost forgotten stories of our ancestors who have contributed significantly to create for us some rich sources of the history of those well of civilizations.

Our Vision

Retrospect of global affairs is not all about just glimpses of the monarch and intra-regional or intra – tribal wars and conflicts.

Rather, a different angle shows us an interesting side of the story which includes great work of art and architecture, contribution to science and technology, treatment of one community with respect to another in a harmonious way etc.

It also gives us a wide view that numerous such civilizations existed with a highly urbanized way of life, unlike what we generally perceive as being highly rural, backward and unorganized. So, there are numerous such myths today about past civilizations and the only way to prove these misconceptions wrong is to dig deep into history, seek knowledge and become able to discern between such fallacies and facts.

Our youth now a days is well informed about meaningful issues of global affairs but sadly only a handful of people are aware about the history of this world, of their community, about their stunning forefathers. History has pages full of magnificent achievements and brilliant glories of numerous civilizations and sorrowfully, this golden history has been long lost.

A retrospect of historical accounts of different civilizations and communities is full of fearless heroism, adventurous anecdotes, prominent and quality education, tremendous power, legendary personalities, colossal victories and many more such attributes. Its high time that this thriving history should be revisited. Our aim behind this crucial initiative which we find an urgent need of the hour is to revive this almost forgotten golden history of the world in contemporary narratives.

The knowledge and the education which is provided here is the need of the Ummah Today. There are very few people who actually bring up such topics and educate the mass about it.. Our Ummah is deep asleep and we need more institutes, the like of yours to wake us up. The courses are so fascinating, Definitely they are going to bring a change and going to benefit the whole community... I do not hesitate to say that this institute is solely for the sake of ALLAH. Talking about our teacher Shumaila Rizvi, I am short of words, SubhanAllah she is doing a wonderful job, May Allah bless her in this life and in hereafter. Learning about the History of Palestine and Jews was always on my list, I used to put in so much of my time in research and one day I just randomly found flyer of this course online and I thought of giving it a try. MashaAllah, this course is full of knowledge and a must go through for everyone to have an in-depth understanding of contemporary sociopolitical conditions. Alhamdulillah, I feel very fortunate to attend this course, which has allowed me to enlarge my spectrum. It's really fruitful.

A tremendous effort by IKCC RESEARCH and a great platform to access historical event in a most simplest way it could be and at ease. The highlight is the mentor SHUMAILA NAAZ RAZVI has extraordinary knowledge of the subject and she is precise in clearing all doubts with logical evidence. Last but not the least I am sincerely thankful to the whole team of IKCC to come up with the beneficial idea to spread awareness about past events as it is helpful for the people like me who has zero iq in historical context. Issue on Palestine is a topic of many discussions, while talking about conflicts, resistance and human rights violation in middle east one cannot forget to mention Palestine. The specific course on Palestine covers all aspects of Palestine and jews from History to modern era and gives a detailed description of the ongoing conflict. This course provides a knowledgeable understanding of Palestine State and how the world see this particular conflict.

This course is full of knowledge and is very helpful for understanding the scenario right now going in Israel and Palestine in terms of religious way and political way too. The way of teaching was very communicative and u always tried to clear all doubts and kept explaining the things until one undertood... But I think there should be more classes on modern history too and the first slide should be change bcoz it is not as visible as compare to other slide. Just have a look on first slide that is introduction to Abrahamic religion..
